Obituary
April Dawn Bird, 44, of the Painttown Community in Cherokee, NC passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 02, 2023 at her residence in Cherokee, NC.
April was the daughter of the late Emerson Bird and Debbie Burrell. She was a past Harrah’s Cherokee Casino employee and lived her life on her terms. She was best known for her public engagements, banter, and exchanges with her peers. She was one of a kind.
April is survived by her siblings, Lewis Bird of Cherokee, NC, Drew Burrell of Dillsboro, NC and Nicole Burrell of Florida; one uncle, Richard Bird of Cherokee, NC.
April was preceded by her daughter, Kasia Jade Bird.
April will have a graveside funeral at the Bradley Family Cemetery on Tooni Branch Rd. on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 4PM with Friends and Family acting as Pall Bearers.
