Sally Catolster Sampson, age 61, passed away on May 18, 2021 at Tsali Care Center, after an extended illness. A member of Old Antioch Baptist Church and the Yellowhill Community. Sally is the daughter of the late Codeskie “Spade” Catolster and Lucinda Crowe Catolster. Sally was a kind hearted lady and never knew a stranger. She always had a smile on her face and enjoyed video games, rides in the parkway and especially trips with Tamara to wherever. Also preceded in death are Sally’s husband, Leon “Duffy” Sampson. Brothers, Richard “Yogi” Crowe, Tim Catolster and Samuel Spade Catolster. Sister, Phyllis C. Martinez. Surviving Sally are her children, Tamara L. Sampson of the home, Alan Rocky Sampson, Penny Johnson and Reba L. Sampson. Special Friend, Nancy West. A visitation will be held on May 21, 2021 at the Sampson Home, located at 1266 Acquoni Rd. in Cherokee, NC, beginning at 6:00pm until 8:00pm. A formal funeral service will take place on May 22, 2021 at the Old Antioch Baptist Church, beginning at 1:00pm with Bear lambert officiating. *If you plan on attending the Funeral Service at Old Antioch Baptist Church, Please Wear Your Mask.* Burial will be in the Sampson Family Cemetery. Pall Bearers will be among Family and Friends. Long House Funeral Home assisted the family with final arrangements.
